Had dinner there last night rather late as we just got into town. Great service and even better food. We will come back here when traveling through Rock Springs. A nice find!

My first visit there with my family. We were on a road trip from the east coast. We were starving and looking for a comfort food since we had been eating fast food on our way. They have a good food and customer service is great. We feel welcoming. Definitely recommended.

Had dinner here tonight with my mate. Service was fantastic he even boxed up our left overs, how many resturants do that? Food was hot and delicious couldn't ask for a better dinner or service. Keep up the great work!

Quality Chinese fare if not totally outstanding. Gets the job done if you're traveling through Rock Springs. Right next door to the Quality Inn and across the road from the Holiday Inn. The medium soups are big enough for four to share as a hearty appetizer. Egg rolls are small--plan on one per person. The cashew chicken is savory.

Best Asian food in Rock Springs. Sizzling rice soup is great - lots of rice, veggies, chicken and shrimp ~ better than the soup next door. I had the chicken curry for the entree - ordered extra hot with mushrooms and peas. It was some of the best curry I've ever had!! Cleared my sinuses by the end of the meal. My friend had the sesame chicken and fried rice, both of which he enjoyed quite a bit. Quick service, reasonable prices, and the server was more than willing to customize our meal. Only complaint was the lack of green tea ice cream, which nearby Bonsai offers on their dessert menu.

TRAVELERS BEWARE - FOOD POISONING! Both my husband and I were up the entire night vomiting (and other) after ordering delivery while staying at the La Quinta Hotel nearby. I have requested that La Quinta remove the Wonderful House advertisement from the booklets in each room as they should not be associated with such poor service. I called Wonderful House and spoke to the manager the next day after the incident. He was RUDE and called me a liar. He said he did not "Believe" me because he claimed to have never had a problem during his 10 years in business. I find this hard to believe! I am also going to contact the health department and the Better Business Bureau. The owner is not aware there are preformed toxins in some sauces, especially those containing mayonnaise. This restaurant leaves these sauces out too long and they become rancid (over 3 days from what the manager told me!). I guess he's never heard of people getting sick from potato salad that's been left out too long! If they leave their sauces out long enough to become rancid, I can only imagine what they do with the rest of their food!

Lots of great food at a great value. Best Chinese food we've had in a long time! We even ate the leftovers for two days!

I'm new to town, so trying to get a sense of what's going to end up high on my lists. Thought I'd dive into the Chinese food scene last night. Surprisingly there are quite a few places to choose from in Rock Springs, and rolled the dice on Wonderful House. I ordered Mongolian Beef, Wonton Soup and an order of Egg Rolls. The Beef was nothing spectacular, soup was inedible, and Egg Rolls tasted like they were of the frozen variety. Could have also been because it was take-out, too. But... looks like I'm going to keep looking.

On my way back to California from Chicago, stooped by here and had a dinner. Foods are not really good but acceptable.

If I wouldve known about the "Wonderful House" last night after we arrived, I wouldn't of settled for a buffet place that rhymes with "bolden moral" (which was disgusting, btw) .... I woke up this morning dreadfully hungry since I barely ate the night before but there were some obstacles in the way... 1. I had no transportation because the friend I helped move here had to use the car for work. 2. I was scared to order BBQ yet alone Chinese food in Rock Springs after the horrible meal we had the night before. Luckily, I have internet access today in our room (iPhone seems to not work in small towns) so I was able to get on YELP!! Yelped chinese fare in Rock Springs and was surprised to see a 4 star restaurant!! Called them around 10:45am (they open @ 11, oops!!) and placed an order for honey walnut shrimp togo.. I was told that the food would be delivered by 11:15am and what do you know... it was delivered at exactly 11:15am!! Wish they had this kind of service back in Houston!! LOL Honey Walnut Shrimp!!! I was seriously content with getting something similar to the Walnut Shrimp @ Panda express.... To my surprised it was just as good if not better than any chinese restaurant in Houston!!! That's saying alot since Houston has one of the largest asian population outside of Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York!! $16 gets you an authentic chinese dish if your craving some chinese food in Rock Springs, WY... I would definitely come back before I leave in a couple days to try out other dishes off of their menu!!

This is my go-to place every time I visit home. Amazing hot and sour soup and love their chicken chow mien. My boyfriend loves their wonton soup and swears it is the best he has ever had! Friendly staff and very quick service.

Don't let the run down look of the outside of this location spook you away. Give them a try. You will be glad you do. Had the sesame chicken and it was delicious. Service was excellent.

The food and service was great. It was a little hard to understand some of the staff, but the food came out quickly, correctly, and hot. I had the sesame chicken and thought that it had a nice flavor when mixed with the fried rice. The portion was big enough to split between two people. A great find for the price!

Great service, good and plentiful food perfect for a lunch stop mid cross state I-80. The Mushu Pork excellent, also Orange Chicken yummy and they'll spice it hot or not so however you like. Plentiful portions, had enough leftovers for dinner. Best lunch we've had on many, many stops across Wyoming. For the money you can't beat it.

Could give it extra star (to 4) for location as a good option along I-80. A few options for vegetarians - I opted for the bean curd and was happy with it. Szechwan beef was full of beef and veggies. Both dishes could have been spicier for our taste, but now that we know we could ask next time. Service very friendly.

I dream about this place...not even kidding. Delicious food and huge portions. Decent prices, fun atmosphere.... the only restaurant I miss in Rock Springs. Ate here every week for over 4 months. Would happily make the drive from Southeast Utah to eat here again if I could afford the gas money!

Food very good. Hot and sour soup excellent. Tofu and Kung Pao could have been spicier but the flavors were there.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
